The Semantic Web provides a common framework that allows data to be shared and reused across application, enterprise, and community boundaries. It is a collaborative effort led by W3C with participation from a large number of researchers and industrial vendors. The scope of W.SW.A@EM is to present recent results of ongoing European RTD projects, which are focused on Semantic Web applications, especially Semantic Web Services - like [INFRAWEBS] - as well as related projects [DIP], [SEKT]. Most of the presented and discussed results and novel approaches are related to the current European standardisation and specification streams. Apart from considering OWL-S and RDF(S) focus will be set to [WSMO] compliant Semantic Web Services.
